This Privacy Policy explains how Chassis Doctor (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Chassis Doctor app (“the App”). We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data transparently.

1. Who We Are

2. What Data We Collect

We collect only the minimum data necessary to provide the App’s functionality:

  • Account information: When you register, we collect your email address and a password (stored in hashed form). We do not collect your name unless you choose to provide it.
  • Setup data you create: Suspension geometry measurements, spring rates, corner weights, and other setup data you enter are saved to your account so you can access them across devices. This data belongs to you.
  • Payment information: Subscription and purchase transactions are processed by RevenueCat and Stripe. We do not store your card details — these are handled entirely by those payment processors under their own privacy policies. We receive only confirmation of transaction status (e.g. active, expired).

We do not collect location data, device contacts, photos, or any data unrelated to your use of the App.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • To create and manage your account
  • To sync your saved setup data across devices
  • To process and verify subscription access via RevenueCat and Stripe
  • To respond to support enquiries you initiate

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond providing the App’s core functionality.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your account and setup data are stored on secure servers. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. Payment processing is handled by Stripe (PCI-DSS compliant) and RevenueCat. We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data, though no system is entirely without risk.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We share data only with the following third-party processors, strictly to operate the App:

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email or via an in-app notice. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will always reflect the current version.
